| Attachment Parenting |
| What is Attachment Parenting? In my own words, the simplest way I can explain it is . . . it means responding to your baby's needs at all times and following what you feel is right for your family. It means never letting them cry it out (CIO) alone, day or night. It means bonding with your child, possibly by baby wearing, breastfeeding with child-led weaning, sharing a family bed, and sharing your life with them. It means becoming a family unit and not necessarily needing to "get away from each other". It means age-appropriate, child-appropriate, non-violent, and compassionate discipline. It means becoming "attached" to each other, building your child's self-esteem and providing them with a security to know that you are always there for them when they need you.
